One of the little joys of life that I really look forward to is getting a new journal. It only happens every few years (I’m not as dedicated to recording my life as some), but when it does, it rocks! Picking out the journal is half the fun. There are so many choices; I remember choosing the journal that I have now. Initially I thought it was ugly, but when I saw that is was made in Spain I got it because I was an exchange student there for a month while in high school. Even now I think it’s not the prettiest, but whenever I see the “Made in Spain” label all kinds of good memories come back. The first time I open a new journal my excitement level totally goes up. There is an empty book that soon will start to be filled by all kinds of new adventures that I have no idea are going to happen! That is a little like how I feel right now.
Starting this blog is exciting because currently there are no blogs on my page, but soon there will be blogs talking about experiences that I have no clue about! I’m excited to share them with you. If you are a prospective student, I hope that you can learn from my experiences and also learn about what a great school UNC is. If you are a current student, maybe you can relate to my experiences and hopefully get a laugh out of some (prospective, you guys can laugh too)! Either way, I hope you guys will enjoy reading this as much as I enjoy writing it.
Like my bio says, I am a second year senior majoring in Sport and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Athletic Training and a double minor in nutrition and Spanish. My first year of college I went to a small liberal arts college in Sterling, Kansas; it was a great school and a wonderful experience but it wasn’t where I was supposed to be for the rest of my college years. So, I transferred to UNC. The primary reason I chose UNC was because we have an amazing athletic training program; it was and still is important to me to go to a school with a reputable program. However, once I got to school I fell in love with everything else that UNC has to offer like a diverse campus, medium size, and great professors that want to help you succeed.
I hope you feel like you know me a little more and I hope I can get to know you too. Here we go!
Have a great day!
